In 2015, Paul Turner Sport has decided to raise funds for the #StayStrongForOws campaign.

Please help us do this by donating on our JustGiving page.

Owen Williams is a Cardiff Blues and Welsh International centre who showed superb talent on the rugby field.  Owen was representing Cardiff Blues in the the World Club 10’s tournament in Singapore last year when he suffered a significant injury to his cervical vertebrae and spinal cord.  The injury suffered by Owen is truly awful for any rugby player and their family.  To suffer in this way at such a young age, playing the game you love and doing your job could be devastating, however to see Owen bouncing back from this in his rehabilitation brings a tear to the eye.  Please give all you can, and encourage others to do likewise to support Owen and his family.

This year Gareth Spencer, who works for Paul Turner Sport will be undertaking several challenges to raise funds for Owen.  These are:

  • Paris Marathon – 12th April
  • Y-Fenni Triathlon – 10th May
  • Cardiff Blues Cardiff – Paris Cycle – 3rd June
  • Open Water Swim – TBC
  • Iron Mountain Sportif Cycle – 8th August
  • Ironman Wales – 13th September

He keeps a blog with regular updates should you wish to follow his progress and you can read this here.
You can also read why Paul himself is such a strong supporter of this cause by reading this article.
